Techniques

Knots - a couple of my favorite knots here that I believe are superior to standards.

Shooting Heads - haven't quite finished this section, but I use them a lot. Especially lead-core heads with loop attachments. If you have a question, feel free to contact me.

Fly Tying - a couple of different techniques in the Bead-rattle Flies and Stealth Bomber fly sections.

Casting - "The Most Un-Appreciated Cast" - The under-powered curve cast is not fancy, but it maybe the fish-catching-est cast of them all.....read more...

Boats - not quite done with this one either, but if you have a question about outboard jet/jonboat rigs for shallow water & rocky rivers, let me know.

Fly Rods - For performance and economy, Temple Fork Fly Rods can't be beat. They ride my boat's rod rack right next to the $600 big names, and catch just as many fish. The TFO Signature Series is unbelievable at under $100; the Ti-Cr is a hot number and my favorite in the 5, 7 and 8 weights.
