This one picture pretty much tells the whole trip's story - Digger with
a fish. |
And if Digger's fish photo doesn't do it by itself, add Bonedog's and
you really have the full story. |
In most cases these two were in the water and hooked up using Callaway
tubes before the pontoon fleet even lauched. |
We missed the photo of Digger's big fish - he let it slip just after
putting the tape measure on it - 25", I believe. |
`Here's the sight that we saw practically every time we turned around -
Digger netting a fish. |
After a while, he got a little bored. Then he started to wrap the fish
in his fins and hand-line the fish in. Variety is the spice of life. |
By mid-morning, everybody was fishing where ever Digger happened to be.
Often he was restricted to making short roll casts as anglers were on
every side. And he still caught fish. |
Here's Kim with a nice one. Everybody else did manage to land trout,
plus a few bluegills and bass were landed. I never heard a firm count,
but I'd guess at
Digger - 87,
Everybody else
- quite a few less |
